Founded in 2016 by Tanya McGeehan, The MCG Property Group (formerly MCG Investments) traces its roots back to Tanya’s early days, where her passion for property was nurtured by her father.
With over 15 years of experience in the Northern Ireland residential property sector, Tanya’s journey began with a vision to create wealth for clients through bespoke investment strategies. Inspired by her father’s teachings and her own love for property, the company quickly established itself as a leading name in residential property investment opportunities, focusing primarily on Belfast. Over the years, The MCG Property Group has evolved, recognising a niche in the market for construction project management and specialised services in renovations and extensions.

Tanya McGeehan
Managing Director
Tanya McGeehan founded MCG Investments Ltd in 2016. Tanya is increasingly being recognised as one of Belfast’s leading female property entrepreneurs. During 2020 Tanya pivoted the business from solely working on properties and projects owned and controlled by the family, to partnering with private investors and joint venture collaborations. As a result, business is booming and coupled with the buoyancy in the local housing market, MCG Investments went from strength to strength and in 2024 due to company growth it rebranded to The MCG Property Group offering four divisons, MCG Property, MCG Construction, MCG Investments and MCG Consultancy.
Nicola McGeehan
Business Support Manager
Nicola McGeehan is our Business Support Manager. Nicola is responsible for managing all daily enquiries and property leads. Nicola’s role can vary from liasing with clients, working with our project manager and organising works being carried out on all projects. Nicola also spends a considerable amount of time working on building control applications and HMO Licensing applications.
Philip Rees
Acquisitions Manager
Philip Rees is our Acquisitions Manager. Philip comes from a property background working in both the public and private sectors, from estate agency to social housing and private residential development to large commercial mixed-use developments. Philip is responsible for acquiring properties for our clients, joint ventures, and our own portfolio. He works closely with agents, solicitors, and contractors daily.
